چکیده

Ticks are one of the main vectors pathogens for humans and animals worldwide. However, they harbor non-pathogenic microorganisms that important their survival, facilitating both nutrition immunity. We investigated bacterial communities associated with two neotropical tick species human veterinary potential health importance from Brazil: Amblyomma aureolatum Ornithodoros brasiliensis . In A. (adult ticks collected wild canids Southern Brazil), predominant phyla were Proteobacteria (98.68%), Tenericutes (0.70%), Bacteroidetes (0.14%), Actinobacteria (0.13%), Acidobacteria (0.05%). The genera Francisella (97.01%), Spiroplasma Wolbachia (0.51%), Candidatus Midichloria (0.25%), Alkanindiges (0.13%). in O. (adults, fed unfed nymphs at environment Brazil) (90.27%), (7.38%), Firmicutes (0.77%), (0.44%), Planctomycetes (0.22%). Coxiella (87.71%), Nocardioides (1.73%), Saccharopolyspora (0.54%), Marmoricola (0.42%), Staphylococcus (0.40%). Considering animal which can be transmitted by ticks, sp. was found all stages brasiliensis, Rickettsia females Banhado dos Pachecos (BP) Viamão municipality, Brazil, These results deepen our understanding tick-microbiota relationship Ixodidae Argasidae, driving new studies focus on manipulation microbiota to prevent outbreaks tick-borne diseases South America.

Characterization of Bacterial Communities in Selected Smokeless Tobacco Products Using 16S rDNA Analysis

The bacterial communities present in smokeless tobacco (ST) products have not previously reported. In this study, we used Next Generation Sequencing to study the bacteria present in U.S.-made dry snuff, moist snuff and Sudanese toombak. Sample diversity and taxonomic abundances were investigated in these products. A total of 33 bacterial families from four phyla, Actinobacteria, Firmicutes, Pro...

Isolation and characterization of microsatellite loci from the tick Amblyomma aureolatum (Acari: Ixodidae).

Amblyomma aureolatum (Pallas) is the main vector of the bacterium Rickettsia rickettsii, the etiological agent of Brazilian spotted fever. This disease is the most lethal human spotted fever rickettsiosis in the world. Microsatellite loci were isolated from a dinucleotide-enriched library produced from A. aureolatum sampled in Southeastern Brazil. Eight polymorphic microsatellites were further ...

Bacterial Identification Using 16S rDNA Gene Sequencing and Antibiogram Analysis on Biofield Treated Pseudomonas fluorescens

Biofield therapies have been reported to improve the quality of life as compared to other energy medicine. The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of Mr. Trivedi’s biofield energy treatment on Pseudomonas fluorescens (P. fluorescens) for antimicrobial sensitivity, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), biochemical reactions, and biotype number. P. fluorescens cells were procured from M...
